I have managerial experience in skilled and long-term care facilities with a record of success in getting initiatives off the ground and flourishing. I inherited a special focus facility with 7 years of financial loss and within 9 months cleared special focus then 5 months after that made the facility profitable. I did that by spearheading an in-depth analysis of systematic approaches for quality care including results.I have earned the bronze and silver quality awards through AHCA.Management of human, fiscal, and material resources in accordance with state and federal regulations is another strong asset I posses; examples are:finding contracting errors that resulted in net gain for facilities by reducing skilled patient cost by 43%, oversee all AP/AR for both buildings and verify services utilized and work with supply chain on cost reduction. I have gone into two facilities and removed agency within 90 days as well as increased retention to nearly 83%.Driving customer service and employee engagement excellence by creating & surveyed residents on satisfaction, created a social media page for resident/family interaction, work side by side with colleagues to remove the silo effect, increased employee engagement by actively listening and following up.Outside of work I find passion helping the mentally and physically disabled through Link Associates as a coach and mentor. It’s a great feeling earning the trust of the players and seeing them on a weekly basis.
