About Brodie Bruner

Since joining Weathermatic in 1995, Brodie Bruner has passionately promoted landscape water conservation through his worldwide travels and training seminars, resulting in billions of gallons of water saved. Under his leadership, Weathermatic has focused its 75-year legacy on sustainability and grown revenues with over distribution locations in 85 countries. Bruner holds a key role in Weathermatic new product development including the SmartLine control system, which began in 1997 and received its first patent in SmartLine is today the world’s top-selling weather based irrigation controller with installations and has won numerous awards for water conservation including: 2004 New Product of the Year, 2005 European Innovation Winner, and the coveted Consumer’s Digest “Best Buy” rating. In recent years, Bruner contributed to development of the award winning SmartLink Network web based control system, a revolutionary cloud based technology for programming and monitoring irrigation systems. To apply the SmartLink technology in a water management service offering, Bruner was part of the team that originally developed the Sustainability Services division of Weathermatic, now responsible for managing outdoor water for leading Fortune 500 companies, property managers, landscape professionals, and major institutions. Today, Bruner serves as Executive Vice President in leading the Sustainability Services division comprised of proposal, reporting, and monitoring analysts, and field operations teams responsible for commissioning and inspections of portfolios' irrigation systems. Bruner is a graduate of Baylor University where he studied Business Management and International Business. He is the author of Pathway to Profits and editor of 21 Secrets, both official instruction manuals for the International Irrigation Association. Bruner resides just outside of Dallas, Texas near Southfork Ranch with his wife and three children.
