About Brodie Roberts

I love writing code to handle particularly difficult problems, and my language of choice is Go. I'm at my prime when digging into low-level detail, especially to benchmark and optimize performance-critical code. Got a system that's always behind, or where saving a few milliseconds would really matter? Throw me at it! Recently, I've been enjoying some of the more social challenges of engineering, such as how to write code that's easiest for other developers to understand and start working in quickly. Once day I would love to be on a team the writes (and maintains!) software packages for other developers to use. Too often I see these packages get written once and then get left to age into oblivion. Outside of work, I'm a singer, photographer, cosplayer, and all around bard. I'm lucky enough to be in some of the most positive online communities out there, and it's a point of pride to spread as much positivity back into the world as I can. I also indulge my imagination and creative problem solving through improvised theater and Dungeons & Dragons.
