What makes a great leader? Sports have been a large part of my life and an area where I was led by very impactful people. These examples brought my passion for leading. Throughout my high school career, especially my senior year, I used my time to work hard and lead people to improve for themselves and our cross-country and track teams. Leaders naturally have goals, which has led me to also be very goal-oriented in the past and in my future. Being goal-oriented was a very crucial part of my success in the past, and I know it will be a very crucial part of my future success. While being a leader and very goal-oriented, one must have the resiliency to achieve what one needs to. In my freshman year, I had a medical emergency at the time of a very important presentation. My team and I had to put our best foot forward and execute the presentation to the best of our ability. In the end, we received a 92%. During my time at the Kelley School of Business, I will continue to lead showing resiliency in accomplishing many of future my goals.
