About Brody Rossiter

Freelance creative & content/social manager with extensive experience in marketing, sales, content creation and community management. Published writer and photographer. After completing my Film degree at Falmouth University, I worked in sales-based retail roles (Marks & Spencer and B&Q) for four years to supplement my writing career and expand upon my interpersonal skills and professional experience. These roles still shape the manner in which I approach customer-facing responsibilities and teamwork. In 2016, I left my home in the North West and became the first marketing hire for Islington-based Craft Beer retailer, HonestBrew. The online retailer and its passionate team would play a pivotal role in shaping the UK craft beer landscape for several years, supporting burgeoning craft breweries and introducing the craft beer subscription format to a UK-wide customer base. Defiantly independent and resolute in its focus to promote the wonders of the world’s finest and most exciting beers to a wide range of customers, HonestBrew provided a gateway to the impending craft beer revolution. In 2019 I returned to Cornwall to become the content & social manager for leading, multi-award-winning brewery, Verdant Brewing Co. My role was incredibly far reaching and incorporated several sales, creative and community management-based responsibilities alongside the odd stint on the canning line. Tasked with curating the weekly webshop releases alongside the retail manager, my role was often to provide a bridge between the brewery’s production, retail and marketing teams to create an exciting and fresh customer proposition across several platforms week in and week out. I also worked alongside the team at Verdant’s Seafood Bar restaurant in the heart of Falmouth, photographing and promoting the food and drinks menus and events. After 2 high pressure yet highly successful years that included the transition into a new £1m crowdfunded brewery and a sharp rise in online sales due to the COVID pandemic, I returned to the North West to pursue new and exciting creative challenges and be closer to family. I have continued to work for high-profile clients in varying roles on a freelance basis. I’m a highly creative and passionate professional. I feel the combination of my content marketing and sales-based experience is invaluable. I’m fully aware of the impact of understanding and communicating with customers, while also identifying trends to create exciting sales propositions that bolster brands and provide added value beyond products.
