About Brogan Andersson

As an MS in Real Estate candidate at the SMU Cox School of Business, I am passionate about pursuing a career in commercial real estate. I have a strong academic background, having earned an MS in Finance and a BBA in Real Estate Finance from the SMU Cox School of Business. I am also a Kitt Investing and Trading Center Fellow, a prestigious program that recognizes and trains high-performing MSF students in financial data analysis and research. I have extensive hands-on experience in real estate analysis, valuation, and capital markets, thanks to my previous roles as a financial analyst at TEME LLC and a property manager at AdobeStar Properties. I led the financial analysis for the development of a new 19-unit hotel in downtown Santa Fe, creating pro formas, amortization schedules, and detailed sales comparable analyses. I also provided expert opinions on modifications to the building layout that increased yearly profits by 16%. As a property manager, I oversaw the operations and maintenance of 12 residential and commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and compliance with regulations. I have acquired multiple certifications that demonstrate my proficiency and expertise in real estate software and tools, such as ARGUS Enterprise, Microsoft Excel, and A.CRE Accelerator. I am also proficient in using various data platforms, primarily Bloomberg Terminal, to research and assess companies' financial performance and relative value as part of my Kitt Fellow responsibilities. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to new and challenging projects in the commercial real estate industry.
