About Bronson Schmidt

My primary experience has been in the aviation maintenance industry. I currently have 10 years of experience in working with and coaching aviation maintenance technicians. Over 2 years of aerostat experience supporting the Texas southwest border mission. The skills that I have specialized in and taught during my military service as an unmanned aviation systems maintainer include repairs and replacements to the aircraft flight controls, electrical system, avionics, radio frequency, propulsion, fuel, placement and removal of optical payload and weapons systems. I am also proficient with operational and preventative checks as well as trouble shooting issues with aircraft and ground support equipment. Those skills also include performing all of the administration work associated with the tasks. As a technical inspector with over 6 years’ experience, I was also responsible for completing the final check on my subordinate’s work to ensure that all maintenance completed met aviation regulations. I have had the opportunity to serve in multiple supervisory roles, managing groups ranging from 2 up to 40 team members. While serving in these positions, I made it a priority to take initiative in finding the most efficient and effect way to complete the tasks while also balancing my subordinate’s wellbeing. I am confident that my experience with both supervisory positions, and aviation maintenance qualify me for consideration.
