Ambitious finance professional with a passion for problem-solving and extracting the story behind the numbers. As an Investment Data Analyst at Square Mile, I lead the data strategy from an investment monitoring perspective, linking performance and characteristics of portfolios, funds and underlying instruments for wholistic insights. I employ programming skills in Python and SQL as well as PowerBI to create data sources and automated, interactive dashboards for investment monitoring, research and forecasting. I liaise with teams within Square Mile and across Titan Wealth to provide novel analytical solutions and standardise data and technology across the business. As a Credit Risk Analyst at Commonwealth Bank, I reported on metrics, trends and drivers for Australia’s largest home loan portfolio. Analysing data with SQL, R and Excel, I presented commentary to the Chief Risk Officer and played a key role in Risk Appetite Statements and Assurance Reviews. I hold a double Bachelors degree in Actuarial Studies and Applied Finance, and with it a unique, cross-sectional view of finance, statistics, mathematics and technology. Throughout this degree, I learned the fundamentals of investment, financial mathematics, economics, statistics, and risk management and developed a passion for technology and analytics.
