As a curious and adaptable individual, I have expanded my accounting skills through various roles, starting with supporting small businesses and moving into corporate environments specializing in capital assets. With over a decade of experience in the oil and gas sector, I have successfully navigated multiple transitions. My willingness to learn has allowed me to: • Collaborate with production accountants and commercial teams for accurate midstream business unit reporting. • Support project accounting by maintaining legacy asset reporting while learning new assets and ERP system. • Contribute to ERP system updates and participate in an internal finance rotation program. I prioritize open collaboration and ensure my work is easily transitioned through process documentation and onboarding. As a service-oriented accountant, I build strong relationships with project teams and support non-finance groups. Recently, I focused on enhancing my Excel modeling skills through Marquee training, leading to improved capital FP & A models and more in-depth analysis. Additionally, I am committed to engaging with my community through volunteering for local organizations.
