Background
About Bronwyn Mahieu
I began my career in server development (mainly Java with splashes of C++ and C#) with some early team leading and project management. I moved into server-side web development plus some frontend development (Java with Spring and the usual JSP, HTML, Javascript, CSS). I then naturally progressed into a Web Team Lead role, leading a team of five very talented front and back end web developers at Shazam.I moved into Technical Project Management (while maintaining the Team Lead role), running a range of projects made up of teams from all across development (mobile, server, web, operations, analytics) both internal on-site, to internal off-site (and in different time zones) and with external contractors. Projects are run Agile using mainly Scrumban mashups.
