About Brooke Berube

I am a recent graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am passionate about providing empathetic, high-quality care to patients and families. My goal is to work as a registered nurse in a setting where I can combine and apply my clinical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and dedication to improving patient outcomes. My healthcare experience includes employment as a Patient Care Associate in Adult Surgical ICU and Stepdown units and as a medical assistant on a Family Medicine floor at a primary care office. These roles allowed me to hone my clinical skills, gain experience working with interdisciplinary teams, and develop a deep understanding of patient care across diverse populations. I spent several years in the food service industry, beginning as a hostess and working my way up to waitressing and bartending. These roles sharpened my communication, multitasking, and customer service skills- qualities that translate seamlessly into building trust and rapport with patients and their families in the clinical setting. I thrive in fast-paced environments and have a natural ability to adapt to challenges. My passion for the medical field and helping others has been the driving force behind my journey into nursing, and I look forward to continuing to grow as a healthcare professional. Outside of nursing, I pride myself on three values: staying close to family, embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, and finding balance in all aspects of life! I am interested in connecting with professionals and exploring new opportunities within the nursing field to further my career aspirations in acute care.
