About Brooke Gray

Building trust and infrastructure simultaneously is my jam! As a seasoned executive leader,I'm the person who put legs to vision, building consensus along the way. I am in my happy place when I can focus my energy 50% relationally and 50% on strategy and process. I love busting down barriers for kids and families, whether persuading organizations to work together to solve a complex issue, speaking to a group of executive leaders about the need in their community, or speaking hope and life over a tired caseworker. I'm passionate about community and caring well for one another. In my previous roles, I've led program development, strategic growth, partnerships, government relations, collaboration, directed programs and operations, and led fundraising efforts. I'm a change-agent, an advocate, and a builder. There’s a sweet spot between being so action-oriented that you move too fast to bring people along and meeting at nauseam to hear thoughts and perspectives without action and accountability. I live in that middle space, and am able to quickly build consensus as a result. I am not afraid of gritty, entrepreneurial spaces where we’re learning together, trying things, failing fast, and getting better with regularity. I think it's fun! Let's dream more and create barriers less. The way to improve our communities is by caring for one another! That begins with creating a space for every stakeholder to bring what they can to the table and to learn from one another.
