Most of my career as a nurse has been spent in the perioperative field as a pre-op and recovery room nurse, a circulating nurse, an OR charge nurse, and a Director of Nursing in the acute care an ambulatory settings. I love the surgery side of medicine and I find that is where I thrive. I love the operating room setting and leading staff in an authentic, empathetic, and transparent way. As an experienced nurse, I love coaching and mentoring younger nurses in a supportive and caring manner and creating an environment that is conducive to learning.
