About Brooke Harrington

I am a current senior at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies through the Weber Honors College. Throughout my academic journey, I've had the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects that have deepened my understanding of both myself and the world around me. This interdisciplinary approach allows me to combine insights from criminal justice and psychology to better address complex social issues and support individuals in need. In addition to my coursework, I have gained valuable experience through my volunteer work with nonprofit organizations, where I’ve developed a strong passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. Currently, I am interning with CEO (Center for Employment Opportunities), where I assist justice-impacted individuals in their reentry process, providing them with the tools and resources they need to build successful futures. I am driven by the belief that understanding human behavior is important when supporting others. My goal is to use my knowledge and experiences to support individuals facing challenges within the justice system, promote rehabilitation, and contribute to positive change in the community.
