About Brooke Harrison

When I was 15, I decided to run a marathon - and I did. During the training process, the same thought kept running (no pun intended) through my head over and over again: How on EARTH am I going to finish this? I had only ever run three miles prior, let alone 26.2. But despite the many early mornings, worn out shoes, and lingering fatigue, I pressed on. This is who I am. A fighter. Once I set my mind to something, you best believe I'll make it happen. I found myself using many of the same skills that got me through my time as a Member of the University of Michigan Women's Rowing Team. Everyday, I did my best to embody elements of perseverance, strength, and drive, all in an effort to lift my teammates up as we pursued our goal to be the leaders and the best. After all, it's all about The Team, The Team, The Team. I pride myself in being good with others, and believe my strength in social settings is what allows me to build the many connections I have today. I have excellent customer service skills, experience managing large groups of people, and I am well organized. If you know anything about being a student-athlete, it's safe to say I'm quite familiar with successful time management skills.
