About Brooke Rent

I began my career in 2019 in the Plumbing and HVAC industry, starting in permits and inspections for residential installs. Eager to broaden my experience, I transitioned into commercial mechanical estimating, assisting with bids during the pre-construction phase. From there, I was promoted to Assistant Project Manager, where I spent three years managing projects for mechanical subcontractors and developing a strong foundation in the technical and operational aspects of construction management. Eventually, I made the leap to the general contractor side as an Assistant Project Manager, managing government facility projects such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). I’m highly proficient in submittal reviews, RFIs, budgeting, schedule of value reviews, preparing scopes of work, preparing change orders, purchase orders, subcontractor invoicing, owner invoicing and project scheduling. Above all, I believe success in this industry goes beyond skill - it’s about relationships, integrity, and meaningful connections. Networking and collaboration are the keys to building great projects and even greater teams.
