About Brooke Sharp

Passionate Event Manager and Customer Engagement Extraordinaire. With over 13 years in the events industry Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Business, Tourism and Event Management degree in 2012 I have held several roles both domestic and internationally developing my skills and knowledge. My first role out of university was for an independent tavern in Caloundra as a Marketing and Events Manager for 2 years before heading abroad to travel the world. In this time I based myself in London working at the five star Four Seasons Hotel as a Banqueting and Events administrator. The most significant position was working as the Conference & Events Manager at Mantra Mooloolaba Beach for 5 years. During my time at Mantra I was responsible for all facets of running the events department from staff training to budget reporting, goal setting & all the hands-on operations of the events including post event wrap up. However, I think one of the most important part of the success of the department was relationship building which ensured repeat clients, solid foundations with our suppliers and the support of the team within the hotel too. In my time at Mantra I was successfully picked for two development programs which saw me strengthen my network within the hotel but also the community too. Within these programs I was set with Corporate Social Responsibility challenges to which I organised two successful Charity Golf Days and a Trivia Night which raised for several amazing causes which was an incredible feeling along with being awarded the highest amount raised overall. My experience, passion for events & love for sport lead me to the position of Commercial Events Manager for the Brisbane Broncos. After three years of exciting Broncos events and challenges I have recently been promoted into the Game Day Manager role for a 12 month contract to help elevate and enhance our game day experience. My passion lies within the Event Management industry. I am very much a people person and love a challenge. I drive myself on being successful and thrive in a busy environment.
