About Brooke Young

Excited to Step into the Role of Business Development Manager at Darwin Innovation Hub As someone who grew up in Darwin, I have a deep connection to the local community and a strong passion for fostering collaboration and innovation. With a background in community engagement, administration, and business operations, I’ve always been drawn to roles that bring people together and create opportunities for growth. At DIH, I’m excited to build and strengthen relationships between entrepreneurs, startups, and investors, ensuring our innovation ecosystem continues to thrive. My experience spans across property management, finance, and project support, with previous roles at LJ Hooker Darwin, where I managed IT infrastructure and supported sales operations. These experiences have helped me develop strong problem-solving skills, digital literacy, and a keen eye for detail—skills I’m eager to apply in this role to create an inclusive and dynamic environment for the DIH community. I’m all about connecting people, creating opportunities, and driving innovation, and I love to contribute to the growth and success of our local ecosystem. Always looking forward to collaborating with the amazing entrepreneurs, investors, and changemakers in the community.
