About Brooklyn Drecksel

My goal in the next 3 years of my life is to become the first Female Chaplain that is serving from the LDS church in the Navy. I have a passion to become a Disciple of Jesus Christ every day and have had many opportunities in my life to face crises in families, as well as the struggles of mental health in individuals. I've had the chance of leading an intervention within my own family, as well as helping the flow of conversations between distancing couples as I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My experiences have led me to pursue a Bachelors degree in Marriage and Family Therapy where I have gained skills and knowledge not only about couples in Marriage, but also dating couples, as well as those who have struggled with issues such as Pornography in relationships. I am currently looking for an Internship to gain more experience with families, counseling in dating, and helping others grow closer to God.
