With over 27 years of industry experience and 24 years as a licensed investment professional, Brooks has focused his talents on serving the many investment needs of our clients. He is responsible for designing and implementing the investment and retirement plans that help our clients to attain the retirement lifestyle they aspire to achieve and maintain. After graduating from Wofford College in with a BA degree in Business Economics, Brooks began his career with Morgan Stanley (predecessor firm) in Atlanta, GA. After two years as a sales assistant, Brooks relocated to Spartanburg with his wife, Carolyn, and joined The Crenshaw Group at Morgan Stanley in 2003. Brooks & Carolyn’s family includes two boys and his hobbies include camping, hiking and fishing, along with being a private pilot. Active in the community, he has served as board member for the Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, Spartanburg Art Museum, Hub City Writers Project, and Spartanburg Humane Society, member of the Spartanburg Downtown Airport Advisory Committee and as a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg.
