Background
About Brooks Petershack
Brooks Petershack is a filmmaker and composer who graduated with a BFA in Film Production from the prestigious Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. He also studied Film Music with the intent to create original scores for his own films. He has collaborated with the Marty O'Connor Creative Agency as a production assistant, planning, producing, editing, and distributing media packages for various business clients. His passion for filmmaking led him to direct, write, and compose music for his thesis "The Show Must Go On", a fantasy film that won multiple selections and awards, including Best Fantasy Film and Best Student Film, at festivals around the world. Brooks now works as a freelance film composer, using his knowledge of film production, directing, and film music to fully realize a director's vision and dreams for a score. His goal is to expand the bounds of imagination and creativity in film and create experiences that show the great emotional extent film can reach when directing, writing and composing are united under a single vision.
