Background
About Bruce Austin
Currently Vice President and General Manager of WALB News owned by Gray Media. This role encompasses overall operations of local news broadcast for NBC, ABC and CW networks, as well as sales, marketing, and engineering departments. I’ve spent 22 years working my way from being a sales account executive, to the Sales Manager, and now being Vice President and General Manager. I am in charge of managing 74 employees, and servicing 30 counties in Southwest Georgia. A veteran of the US Army/National Guard, I value our country and a strong work ethic, which has enabled me to become a strong and passionate leader.
