About Bruce Freeman

Having recently concluded a twenty- one year career as President of Castle & Cooke's Mainland Communities, I have formed Pinnacle Advisory Services, a strategic consulting firm focused on helping companies become more profitable through examination of their business strategies and challenges within their organizations. My hands on leadership of substantial residential and commercial developments has given me a unique experience and valuable perspectives on issues in land acquisition and disposition, entitlement and development, product planning and design, and financial analysis (pricing, cost structure, returns on investment). Today, Castle & Cooke is a major national developer of both residential and commercial properties across the United States. Upon joining Castle & Cooke,the Mainland Division was only a small land development and homebuilding division in Bakersfield, CA. During my tenure, through several economic cycles, I spearheaded its growth into northern California, Arizona, and Florida, developing 10 master planned communities with over lots and homes, as well as approximately 3 Million square feet of retail, industrial, and office property. Pinnacle Advisory Services was formed to serve companies both inside and outside the real estate industry. I limit my relationships to a small number of clients where I think my experience can add real value. I focus on shorter engagements where a modest investment in time and my expertise can be leveraged to solve problems of significant impact. Engagements can be stand alone, normally for the CEO or other key executive, or as an Advisory Board Member, with follow up with specific managers as necessary.
