About Bruce Gold

The use of natural daylighting in construction has become all the rage! It is an important element in Green Building Designs. I wholeheartedly embrace this trend and have incorporated this element into the products I have designed and sold throughout the US. By working with architects and developers, I have been able to design custom structures to meet the various needs of their clients. I designed the first true curtainwall system that allows both multiwall polycarbonate and large insulated glass units within the same framing system for a YMCA in Ohio. My innovative use of multiple colored polycarbonate sheets in canopies has garnered awards for building design. I have expanded the traditional role of multiwall for use on exterior applications to now included interior applications. Using solid sheet standing seam polycarbonate, I was able to take the dull and boring exterior canopy with expanded metal sheet and turn it into a fun and exciting entrance with the use of color and form. On a limited budget and minimal resources, I was able to expand our product offerings, making them cost competitive, while reaching a nationwide territory. My greatest strength is the ability to work with architects, designers, and developers during the design phase of a project and come up with custom system designs to enhance their project. Whether in an one-on-one situation or during a "Lunch & Learn", I enjoy developing a rapport with the architect as I see it more of a collaborative effort than just a sales call. My goal is not securing just one project but developing a relationship for continued success for all parties involved.
