About Bruce Jones

After traveling the world and living, working, and visiting 50 countries (now 68) I founded one of the largest TEFL certification schools in the world with over annual graduates as of 2025). I have over 20 years of experience in the international education field including previous experience in international NGO work in the medical education field. I'm dedicated to helping people make their dreams come true by traveling and living abroad as an English teacher and making a difference in the lives of their students. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to travel and explore the world as international experiences change and shape us into better people. Becoming a professional English language instructor provides a wonderful vehicle to live abroad as a local and make an important impact on the world in a classroom. At ITA we provide pre-enrollment admission advice, accredited TEFL instruction by university professors, lifetime job assistance with a full team of staff, and finally a world network of thousands of ITA alumni to get to make personal and professional connections. We offer 4-week, in-person classes in 25 cities in 6 continents and online courses full-time and part-time. I am fortunate to be able to pursue a life goal to make living and working abroad accessible for the mass population as a way to have a cultural and life-changing event for our graduates and the students they impact worldwide. In short, I get to help people make their dreams come true every day and improve the world one experience at a time. Previous work: Coordination of world conferences with the World Health Organization, United Nations, World Trade Organization, and World Bank in international health care. Co-founder of an international medical association for healthcare workers in infectious disease care. International experience of living, working, and traveling to over 65 countries in 6 continents including 2 years of continuous travel.
