About Bruce McLeod

I live to help people grow and flourish. I’m curious and compassionate to a fault. As a child, I was curious about people and drawn to how I could help them. Later in life with a varied background in government and non-government and as a senior executive in a multinational company, I retained an interest in what I now know was called coaching. People fascinate me and I have a never-ending curious drive to explore their strengths. When I went to Royal Roads to take their Executive Coaching program my life changed. That was when I knew I was going to be a coach for the rest of my life. For me coaching is an absolute calling, not just a job. It’s helping people realize how powerful they are and to step into their full potential in their professional and personal lives. I’ve been told one of my core strengths as a coach is my ability to be perceptive and intuitive—to listen carefully for the messages behind the words and help individuals join the dots that aren’t always apparent. This kind of work gets me charged up and excited to see what’s next. As I look to the future, my passion and drive comes from a desire to get coaching skills and competencies into the hands of as many people as possible. Coaching has so much potential in every aspect of life, and I want my legacy to be that I have made a difference in growing coaching competency all over the world.
