About Bruce Nathanson

I’ve spent the last twenty years as a strategist and problem solver in the healthcare and senior housing fields. My consulting practice is designed to build senior housing census while supporting older adults in their quest to live meaningful and rewarding lives. I am currently providing advisory services to RiverSpring Living with a focus on Independent and Assisted Living Residences. Previous engagements included Senior Care Authority placement services and with Watermark Retirement Communities for the launch of a luxury residence in Brooklyn Heights. Earlier, I served as Senior Vice President at The New Jewish Home, an innovative provider of healthcare and housing for older adults. My portfolios included Public Affairs, Communications & Marketing, and Capital Projects/Real Estate. I directed brand development and execution, participated in long range strategic planning, and was corporate spokesperson and storyteller. My background includes roles as a nonprofit trustee, small businees general manager, and as an advertising agency executive. I earned an MBA in Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business Administration and a BA from Syracuse University with a dual major in Political Science and Religious Studies and a minor in Communications from the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
