About Bruce Nichols

Hey what's up everyone! Welcome to my Linkedin profile. If you made it this far, then I can assure you that I won't bore you with the same old, bland Linkedin intro. To tell you a little more about myself, my personality can be seen in a few different ways. I can be the professional businessman/engineer, talking about RoM's, beam loading or pump curves one minute, and cracking a joke the next, because let's face it, life isn't always about a suit and tie. I'm a goal oriented individual, who is always striving for the best results. Organized, competitive, detailed, and articulate are a few of the many features that best describe my work ethic. My idea of a "good day" is progress. There isn't any other feeling like driving home from work knowing that you accomplished something and overcame a challenge.I've been a ME since 2013 and have gotten my hands dirty on a multitude of different kind projects. From fluid modeling, to structural analysis, to tank inspections, to power plant process designs, to PSM audits, to API-PRV calculations. Basically anything that can be found in a manufacturing plant setting, I've seen it or have some kind of knowledge on it. I'm also rather fluent in the NYS Chemical Bulk Storage regulations have conducted many CBS tank inspections. Some of the industries that I've hit in my years as an engineer, include the chemical, pharmaceutical, cement, plastics, silicones, general manufacturing, power generation, paper mills, etc.
