Background
About Bruce Turner
With over 12 years of experience at dBs Institute of Sound, I specialise in research, lecturing and course leadership for BA and Masters programs, focusing on creative music production, innovation in sound, live performance, and research methods. My work integrates technical expertise with a passion for auditory rhythm and biomechanics, supported by my ongoing PhD research in this field. Beyond academia, I compose, perform, and produce under the alias Paper Dragon, multimillion streaming success, and contributing soundtracks to platforms such as BBC, Channel 4, and Discovery Channel. My collaborations with artists such as Massive Attack, TC and Banco De Gaia reflect my dedication to blending creativity with sonic innovation.
