About Bruce Young

With over 20 years of experience in technology change, including 13 years in financial services, I have successfully developed a career in large programme delivery, governance & compliance, and operational efficiency. Currently, I lead an operations team in a core division of the UK’s largest bank, ensuring that Strategic Workforce Planning aspirations are accurate, affordable, and reflective of the bank’s evolving people and technology strategies. Previously, I led the creation and transition of over 300 roles to the Lloyds Technology Centre in Hyderabad, India, managed the Cyber Security Programme Office (over 100 initiatives with a budget of £75m per annum), and led high-profile projects such as a major upgrade to the Core Banking System and the design and implementation of resilient infrastructure solutions. As a change professional with excellent leadership, organisational, financial, and communication skills, I am respected as an accomplished and personable achiever. I take pride in building and leading successful teams and in creating and managing effective relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels and disciplines.
