About Bruce Young

Mr. Bruce Young is a Senior Information Technology consultant with over 30 years of experience and knowledge with Data Center, Data Center consolidation and core infrastructure technology, strategic planning, design, implementation and operations. He works directly with key accounts in a multitude of industries providing consulting services in mission critical data center strategy, planning and implementation, spanning both IT platforms and Data Center Facilities. Prior to joining CenturyLink, Mr. Young served as a Global Program Manager and Practice Principal Consultant for Dell’s Data Center Transformation consulting practice. Mr. Young was responsible for leadership and oversight of Data Center consolidation engagements for targeted Dell Global accounts. With deep expertise in project and program level management, Bruce was able to manage engagements at a variety of levels that best fit the client’s needs. That ability combined with his years of experience with managing software development, technology solutions and operations, makes him a world class partner for Data Center and technology projects. Before joining Dell, Bruce was the Director of Infrastructure Engineering and Operations for Expedia, Inc, where he was responsible for Data Center build out projects, asset management and technology implementation. Prior to Expedia, Bruce was the Program Manager for Data Center Services projects for Washington Mutual Bank, Inc, where he spent five years managing the build out of two world class data centers and managing the consolidation and migration efforts into the new facilities.
