Experienced engineer with over 30 years of experience designing and leading design teams in the design, testing, validation and production of transmissions for the Powersports industry, off-highway electric vehicles and other off-road vehicles. I am a creative engineer with the technical ability to bring ideas to fruition. I have taken multiple designs from an idea or concept to the production line and understand the work and steps needed to get things done on time, on budget and at a desired profit level. As Technology Development Manager, I lead the Research and Development group as well as lab and field testing/validation groups. To determine what projects to work on in R&D I was the leader coming up with a Project Evaluation process we use to determine which projects to fund and work on. Once we determine what projects to work on I lead that group through a development process that coincides with our primary phase/gate process used to get to production.
