Bruce is an incoming first-year student at the University of Western Ontario, studying business with Ivey AEO. He graduated in 2023 with an IB Diploma from the Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School. As Student Trustee for the York Region District School Board, Bruce secured over $1 million in funding for key student priorities with a focus on mental health and re-designed policy frameworks allowing for more authentic student engagement. He served a subsequent term as chair of the student senate (YRPC), championing internal reforms to strengthen the role of student voice and relaunched events, reaching thousands of new students. Bruce served as Executive Director for the Federation of Canadian Secondary Students.
