About Bruno Atzori

I'm a professional with 10 years of experience within the investment fund industry focusing mainly on AML/CTF matters. I'm currently managing the Compliance team in charge of the implementation of the AML Feamework and the Customer Due Diligence on new and existing clients of Van Campen Liem. I consider myself a detail oriented person and this characteristic has helped a lot in my professional career while approaching AML/CTF matters. I’m capable of performing DDs/ODDs for complex structures. Having an analytical mindset,I can retrieve information related to companies/individuals from open sources as well as perform detailed reputation checks to ensure that a potential/existing client is not involved in any financial crime violation. I’m able to review the results derived by the sanctions screening tools (e.g. World Check and Dow Jones) confirming or closing any potential hit. Thanks to the knowledge of several languages I can review documents in different languages, ensuring proper DD/ODD is conducted. I’m able to work independently following established policies and procedures but I’m also a strong team player. Every task I perform I always try to find a solution to be more efficient without losing in terms of quality. In addition during my work experience and pursuant to a constant growth in terms of responsibilities, I acquired the ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines, liaise with different audiences (Senior Management, Sales Offices, Clients, etc.), prepare quality KPIs for different Board meetings as well as prepare the relevant documentation to be discussed during those meetings. I actively participated to the implementation of Team’s procedure as well as review of AML Policy, ensuring those met Luxembourg standards. I strongly believe in cooperation with colleagues and therefore I like to share knowledge among different teams.
