Background

About Bruno Basso

I have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and an Interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in Marine Science and Technology, both from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). I took a 2-year internship at the Japanese multinational energy company, MODEC, in the Offshore Mechanical Execution area (maintenance and repair of static fleet equipment). In addition, I am a great lover of the extracurricular experiences that the university can offer, especially federal universities, and because of this, I experienced great opportunities that arose throughout my undergraduate studies. I participated in the Junior Enterprise Movement through the junior enterprise of my course, IMar Jr, for 2 years (2020-2021), holding positions as trainee, legal-financial advisor, legal-financial manager, legal-financial director, and president. I was a research student funded by CNPQ, with research focused on the theme of Fuels (diesel, biodiesel, and green diesel), and I am also a volunteer researcher on another project in Fuels (NMR in the time domain, diesel, adulteration). Both research projects were presented at the UNIFESP Congress 2023 and UNIFESP Congress 2024, respectively. Furthermore, the second research is in the process of being published as an academic article. I served as a teaching assistant for Theoretical Chemistry and Experimental Chemistry at my university. Additionally, I was involved in the management of the Athletic Association (Director of Sports, Director of Sponsorship, and Administrative Advisor) in 2022 and 2023, Society of Petroleum Engineers (Infrastructure and Events Advisor) in 2023, and Graduation Committee (Marketing Advisor) from 2022 to the present. I strive to be the best version of myself every day of my life. I believe that discipline and consistency always triumph over talent!
