About Bruno Caro

As a board certified advanced practice registered nurse 100% fluent in the Spanish language, I function independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for underserved complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients. I order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to the patient’s age-specific needs, as well as prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities. I implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability. I monitors the effectiveness of interventions while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to make appropriate referrals when indicated. As a firefighter/EMT, I employ emergency medical care, including patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring. I also perform search and rescue missions, 911 response, fire prevention and suppression duties.As a CrossFit level II certified trainer I provide coaching and training to assigned groups of clients using the CrossFit methodologies, ensure safety, and facilitate performance towards planned goals.With my previous experience as a family practice nurse manager, I assisted in providing the underserved population with excellent medical assessment, education, disease management, and necessary follow-up. I worked closely with the interdisciplinary team to assure excellent communication and patient satisfaction, while supervising 25+ employees, including human resource responsibilities for department scheduling needs, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. I implemented and monitored performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives, as well as contributed to organizational growth initiatives as an active member of intra-organizational committees, including preceptor duties for the student nurse clinical program, young professionals, and manager effectiveness committee.
