About Bruno Demers

I'm a professional passionate about initiatives that foster the urgently needed reinvention of our global world through social innovation, collaborative practices, regional economic resilience, sustainable design, humanitarian work, and climate action. As both a social scientist and entrepreneur, I bring an analytical understanding of contemporary complex societal issues and a pragmatic vision of the less conventional strategies that need to be implemented. My peers know me for my unifying leadership, proactive dedication to work, versatility, sense of empathy, collegiality, ethics, love of public speaking, and diverse experiences in coordination, research, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and business development. The personal mission that drives my career is to contribute to the advent of a more just, green, and livable future. Since 2015, I have been with Architecture Without Borders Quebec, the humanitarian arm of the Order of Architects of Quebec, where our work focuses on bringing design and construction solutions to communities in need. Through my work or individually, I am available for any collaboration with progressive individuals or organizations that place human beings, social impact, creativity, and the environment at the heart of their priorities.
