About Bruno Guay

Mr. Guay has been working in the IT field since 1982. He holds two university diplomas in this discipline from Laval University and lectured there on information security for several years. Mr. Guay's knowledge and experience has led him to design systems in both the public and private sectors. He has directed and participated in network and system architecture projects, and designed and implemented IT management and contingency plans. In related fields, he has also worked as a project manager and headed an IT department. Bruno Guay joined Nurun Québec's Security and Technologies Team in November 2003 as a senior Information Security Advisor. To date, he has worked as an analyst and architect for large-scale projects in identity and access management, directory and meta-directory implementation, risk analysis, security audits and application security evaluations. Bruno Guay is a member of the Standards Council of Canada's information security advisory committee (CAC-JTC 1 - SC 27), he also represents Canada internationally via the ISO/IEC subcommittee on information security. In this capacity, he currently participates in the editing and publication of international standards. He is co-editor of the ISO/IEC 27034-1:2011 - Application Security standard, published in December 2011, and ISO/IEC 27034-2:2015, published in 2015.
