About Bruno Lauer

I am a legal professional specializing in infrastructure and project finance, with expertise in legal risk assessment, navigating public-private partnerships and providing advice on deals executed with the public sector. At Machado Meyer Law Firm, I advised clients on acquiring infrastructure assets through government auctions and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). My role involved drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements in M&A transactions, organizing documentation for auction qualification, and generally supporting clients in their mission to create value for their investors. I also worked on the legal modeling of facilitating significant investments in urban transport systems. Additionally, I have handled disputes—both in and out of court—between private parties and government agencies, primarily related to regulatory claims for economic rebalancing of concession agreements. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Corporate and Commercial Law at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I am deepening my understanding of the intersections between law and finance.
