About Bruno Vernay

I would like to bring Training, Support and Expertise in a team. Security should be spread by being close and available to the teams, with a frictionless dialogue. Too often the discussion is limited to "Security? Yes, it is encrypted." My aim would be to empower the teams on security topics (Training, Support) while still being present on advanced cases (Expertise). Long time IT worker, I enjoy interesting paradigms, trends and technologies. I worked on most parts of web applications, from production and hosting to the database schema definition to the client side Javascript. I had the chance to also work in Complex Event Processing (CEP, Rules Engines) and M2M (AKA IoT). One common denominator is the focus on security. I have been in various projects, different in size and procedures. I am all for the Agile / DevOps movement. Human factor being of utter most importance whatever the method. My current focus is on Security where a lot of work has to be done. For some years now, I had opportunities to teach classes, which I enjoy and would like to do more.
