About Bryan Billedo

Biography: I graduated from West Coast University's Ontario Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in November 2012. I have been a registered nurse for eleven years, mostly serving in the specialty of psychiatry nursing. I have worked with children, adults, and the geriatric population and provided mental health nursing care filled with compassion and empathy. I have also had the privilege of treating adult patients who battle with substance abuse. I have extensive leadership experience as a Charge Nurse in many previous positions at Canyon Ridge Hospital and Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center. Currently, I teach at West Coast University as a Clinical Instructor for students for their Mental Health rotation, and I am in the process of attaining my Master's degree in Nursing Leadership. Nursing Philosophy: My nursing philosophy has always been to make man whole. My meaning to this philosophy is looking at the individual not just as a person who needs medical care for a certain diagnosis but as a person who needs treatment in all aspects of their life, both physiological and psychological. Since graduating from nursing school, my mission has been to ensure that I treat all my patients holistically.
