About Bryan Franklin

In my time at Technip in the Subsea Operations division my duties have included supporting the pipe lay vessel Deep Blue in logistical support, facility management, and asset management roles. Working with our logistics team and projects ensure CBP compliance and equipment tracking while optimizing transport budgets for equipment movement and storage. In my role at Technip I was on the team to rebuild our equipment storage yard and rigging warehouse. The new storage yard and warehouse has provided reduction in logistics cost and provided transparency in our inventory and thus prevented additional procurement of new items. At our dock facility in Mobile AL, I have supervised equipment repair scopes along with mobilization and demobilizations of vessels. During work scopes at the dock facility I manage a staff of 15-20 including Technip staff, 3rd party welders, riggers, and crane crew to provide a safety first and efficient work environment. Supervised scope include welding repairs, rigging inspections, and equipment heavy lifts. In asset management my department created and developed a equipment rental division to service our internal clients. This group manages company owned assets to provide project ready equipment and rigging to reduce spend outside of the company and provide cost savings to our projects. The cost savings from our team is estimated at two million dollars per year.
