About Bryan Hadlock

I wanted to be an illustrator. When I got my first camera I decided to be a photographer too. I made it my minor in college. When I learned about the art and precision of typography, color and form, I HAD to be a graphic designer. I made it my major. I realized that I had a love for writing when the only copywriter at my first real agency job quit and I had to write my own copy. I liked that a lot. A LOT. I became ambidextrous in design and copywriting and discovered a great passion for directing creative, branding, campaign building and execution. When I got my first taste of broadcast, I was hooked for good. The Internet and the digital and social tsunami were and remain for me both humbling and invigorating. Research, brain science, planning, strategy, behavioral economics, media—I learn something new every single day. Running a creative team was big fun and rewarding. Running a creative discipline was fantastic and addictive. Running the creative for an independent, super regional with multiple offices—managing and directing dozens of talented creatives, hundreds of millions of dollars in media and production, IS an honor and a privilege that I never take for granted.
