About Bryan Haro

Mechanical Engineer I at Spike Electric Controls focused on switchboards/switchgear/switchracks/bussed gutters/ CTBs/—and on shaving hours off releases with smart automation. I’ve built iLogic tools in Inventor that save ~2 hours per job, manage 10+ jobs in parallel from model to release, and keep BOMs clean with Vault and tight handoffs to the shop. Previously, as Past President of ASME-UH, our section received the ASME Distinguished Student Section Award (U.S. & Canada)—a team honor earned by a 21-officer board and our members. I also serve as an ASME National Student Section Ambassador, mentoring student chapters across the U.S. & Canada. Beyond work, I’m a Lead Robotics Instructor (ages 8–15) building Arduino/Python curricula and mentoring FLL teams. I care about practical AI + robotics for the built world—processes, data, and tools that remove friction on real hardware. When I’m not engineering, you’ll find me lifting, training jiu-jitsu, golfing, or out fishing and hiking. Always happy to connect on switchgear automation, youth robotics, or any of the above!
