About Bryan Helgesen

Hi! My name is Bryan Helgesen and I am an experienced business development executive with more than 35 years in the space industry. I have a strong background in spacecraft and launch vehicle technologies, systems and applications, having flown thousands of products, on hundreds of missions, with 100% on-orbit success. I am currently leading a team of the space industry's best and brightest, responsible for the growth of business, strategic customer base, product portfolio and sales pipelines across multiple high-end space applications technology areas, including space solar power, space propulsion, electro-mechanical systems & precision motion control, and astronaut life support systems. In my first twelve months in this position, my team and I achieved a 2X growth in external customer sales in the 9-figure range. My team is now targeting a growth to >$500M in sales and revenue by 2030 by focusing on large, addressable markets and discriminating technologies. My team has flown hundreds of spacecraft mechanisms to Mars, is a key supplier to critical USG missions, and has changed the manufacturing paradigm of space solar power systems.I love to hire smart people who have both humility and a fire in their belly about what we are trying to accomplish, and I am interested in discussing strategic partnerships targeting needle-moving, game-changing technologies and space platforms.I cherish life and try to encourage someone with each day I am blessed with. My passions are glorifying Jesus Christ in my life and seeing others find eternal hope in Him (John 316), my wife of 33 years, six children and 4 grand-children, my country, downhill skiing and spending time in the Colorado mountains, and hanging out on warm beaches in Florida, Cancun and Hawaii.God bless!
