About Bryan Hogan

I have spent over 30 years of my life in the IT world. I have worked as a sole Analyst/Programmer, a member of teams, a team leader, and even a freelancer working with clients on the other side of the world. I love being presented with a problem, planning the solution and then delivering it. But as well as being a computer programmer, I have worked as a teacher for over 5 years and a freelance sound engineer for over 7 - I have even completed professional assignments as a photographer. I have lived in 4 different countries and cultures. Therefore, I bring a vast wealth of personal experience to all of my roles. When I was young, my mother taught me that "If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well". I apply this rule to not only all of my work, but to all of my endeavours. Currently I am the head of MS Office development here in Prague in a challenging role providing support for the global Research, Sales and Banking divisions in Barclays. I liaise daily with colleagues and shareholders in Pune, Prague, London and New York. I work dynamically, spending 3-4 days a week working remotely and 1-2 days a week on-site.
