With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, cryptographic solutions, and secure systems engineering, I have dedicated my career to securing critical infrastructures, embedded systems, and mission-critical platforms. My expertise spans defense, aerospace, cryptographic security, and advanced cybersecurity research, with a focus on risk management, secure system design, and emerging cryptographic standards. Currently, I serve as a Cybersecurity Architect at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc, where I develop and integrate cybersecurity solutions for advanced unmanned systems, ensuring compliance with multi-level security requirements and government regulations. Previously, I held key cybersecurity and cryptographic architecture roles at CommScope, Fuse Integration, and the Department of Defense, focusing on PKI, cryptographic key management, secure communication protocols, and threat mitigation strategies. Research & Academia I am pursuing a PhD in Cyber Operations at Dakota State University, where my research focuses on post-quantum cryptographic vulnerabilities to side-channel attacks in resource-constrained environments. My work analyzes the resilience of NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms (CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium, Falcon) against power and electromagnetic side-channel attacks (SCAs), particularly when implemented on embedded microcontrollers. Through empirical benchmarking and advanced cryptanalysis techniques, I evaluate practical security risks and mitigation strategies to ensure the secure deployment of post-quantum cryptography in embedded systems and IoT devices. My research contributes to both academia and industry, bridging the gap between theoretical cryptographic security and real-world implementation challenges.
