Background

About Bryan Inglis

Bryan is a seasoned manager with extensive experience and a strong foundation in business operations. He is a practical thinker who seeks realistic and satisfying solutions to challenges. He holds a solid track record of strategically leading individuals through business reorganizations in order to grow bottom lines. He prides himself on his excellent communication and interpersonal skills and leads by offering coaching, guidance and support to team members. Bryan led Co-op Atlantic’s Agriculture Division through 10 years of strategic growth and healthy financial results. He repositioned and invigorated Co-op Atlantic’s non co-op food initiative, strategically developed the business to support Co-op Atlantic’s strategic and financial plan, identified marketing opportunities for producers of agricultural products and provided leadership in the coordination of their production and sales, actively led several joint venture co-operative businesses such as Valley Fertilizer, Atlantic Beef Products, Livestock projects, Rochdale Gold, and NB Seed and facilitated the opportunity to create a global Purchasing co-operative for agriculture inputs (IPCO/CRF). Over the course of his career, Bryan also spearheaded and implemented a successful retail format for Co-op Atlantic’s farm store members, increasing sales by $15 million since implementation. As Chairman of IPCO, he led the implementation of a new business model to support the changing Canadian agriculture supply industry. He implemented an innovative local grain strategy to increase farm cash receipts and improve the Agriculture Division’s reciprocal relationships, presided over the transformation of Country Ribbon Inc, an integrated Newfoundland Poultry Company, into a successful business with over $60 million in annual sales and oversaw the planning and implementation of the Atlantic Beef Inc. processing plant in 2002.
