Physician: Dr. Bryan Moore is an academic physician board-certified in Neurology and board-certified in Neurocritical Care. Dr. Moore has expertise in Critical Care, Neurology, and Telemedicine, with extensive experience in intersystem clinical telehealth. He completed his Neurology residency at NYU and his Neurocritical Care fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Moore held an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Neurology and has Stroke leadership experience as the former Medical Director of the Stroke Division at Hennepin County Medical Center. Data Scientist: Dr. Moore followed research interests in neural time series analysis into formal Data Science graduate coursework at the University of California, Berkeley, completing a Masters in Information and Data Science (MIDS) in August 2018. His thesis work consists of non-parametric / system identification modeling of neural spike transformations using deep learning (neural temporal point processes), with applied machine learning to guide closed-loop stimulation for a brain-computer interface for memory restoration. He also completed a Masters in Computer Science with a focus in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering.
