Over twenty-seven years experience as a produce grower ( round, roma and grape tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumber, bell pepper, eggplant, beans, brassicas, leafy greens, corn) in multiple growing regions of Florida, Georgia and Texas. Over seventeen years of Organic specialty crop production (same crops as conventional). Daily operations management from crop selection, field layout and preparation, pre-plant fertilization, plastic and drip application, planting, integrated pest and weed management, harvest (projection and completion). As an operations manager for Robinson Fresh, I developed and implemented strategic and tactical plans to ensure on-going and expanded supply of produce for Organics and Dry-Vegetable. Ability to direct complex irrigation projects from concept to fully operational status.
